I believe that everyone is creative, but sometimes life gets in the way and makes it difficult to remember or even believe in our creative abilities and skills.

1. Get over the resistance of getting started by just coloring or filling in the background. 
   1. Putting color over the background is easy and doesn't need to require any particular skill, so all you need to do is start. Starting is often the hardest part. 
2. If all you can do is scribble, go ahead and scribble.
   1. When you do something with intention, it takes on a different quality. So scribble intentionally. You may find you've made something really cool.
3. It's okay if you make a mistake.
   1. Now you get to practice thinking of a solution, which is good for your brain. Yay for brain exercise!
   2. Mistakes can lead to those "happy accidents" of which Bob Ross was so fond.
